The 24-year-old has seen himself become one of the most sought after players in the world this summer following a stunning season with Lyon that saw him bag 31 goals – a tally that was bettered only by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

And because of his form he has come to the attention of the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool as reports in France suggested that he could be ready to move on from the Stade Gerland during the upcoming transfer window.

However, Lacazette, who has worked his way up from the club’s academy system, has blown cold air on the speculation linking him with an imminent exit.

“I have not made my decision. I will go on holiday, leave my agent to discuss things, for him to look after all that,” Lacazette told French publication Le Parisien.

“I am not worried. It won’t worry me at all. As soon as I have decided, I want it all to happen quickly.

“When? That is the question. I could stay at Lyon next season and have a terrible season, I could leave and have an incredible season.

“Everything depends on the destination. It would have to be for a Champions League club. Barcelona and Real Madrid – you don’t reject them.

“But today, between leaving and staying, it is not 50-50 – it is zero. I am not thinking about it. I am going to enjoy the national team and I will think about it after.”
