Arsenal are said to be leading the likes of Barcelona and Juventus for the signature highly-rated Danish midfielder Pione Sisto, according to the Metro.
The 20-year-old comes with a shy high reputation, having been voted the Danish Footballer’s Association Player of the Year while at FA Midtjylland.
Both Juve and Barcelona were said to be hot on his heels this summer, but reports in Italy are now claiming that the Gunners have stolen ahead in the race for his signature.
Sisto is currently away on international duty with Denmark at the U-21 European Championships, where he has helped his side to victories in their opening fixtures in Czech Republic and even bagged a late winner in the opening game against the hosts.
Having made his debut in 2013, Sisto has gone on to make 58 appearances for his club, bagging 14 goals.
Scouts have been watching him for the best part of a year now, and it is believed that the bidding will begin at just £7m.
