The agent of sought after Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca has apparently declared the player’s interest in joining up with Liverpool this summer, the Metro
The Colombian international has already declared his intention to leave southern Spain in the coming weeks, and agent Sergio Barila is well aware of the interest being shown in him by the Reds.
“We are really looking at three things – number one is to have a happy family situation for his wife and son because he had a bad experience in Belgium,” he told the Guardian.
“The second is to find a good team with a good project. Before he went to Chile, we wrote down a list of clubs that fit that description and Liverpool was on that list.
“The third question is the contract. He has a good salary in Sevilla but we know how much clubs in England can pay.”
It is thought that the 28-year-old will cost Brendan Rodgers £21m, meaning he will have to break the chequebook out again following Roberto Firmino’s £29m arrival from Hoffenhiem earlier in the week.
Bacca has found himself as one of Europe’s most in demand strikers after firing 28 goals in 55 appearances across all competitions to help Sevilla to a second successive Europa League title.
Liverpool are undergoing a heavy rebuilding process this summer, as they look to make a quick recovery from a poor campaign last time out, and want Bacca to help fill the void left by Luis Suarez.
