Chelsea News and Goals
Champions League finalists Juventus are lining up a shock £18m move for Brazilian playmaker Oscar. The Sun report that representatives from the Italian club will be in London today to discuss a move for the 23-year-old, who appeared to fall out of favour with Jose Mourinho last season.
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has dealt Chelsea a blow by revealing that his star player Koke is not for sale, according to The Sun.
Simeone has earmarked the midfielder and Diego Godin as the only two players that he is desperate to hold onto.
“Of course, at Atletico there are few players who can be considered untouchable – Koke, Godin and that’s about it, I’d say,” he explained.
However, that could be good news as the Blues continue their pursuit of Atleti defender Toby Alderweireld, with the Daily Star reporting that the Belgian could be lured as part of a swap deal that sees Felipe Luis return to his former club.
Alderweireld spent last season on loan with Southampton, and now appears to have several options to choose from.
And Mourinho has already get a replacement lined up, should Luis head back to Vicente Calderon, as the Daily Mirror report that Abdul Baba Rahman is now a target.
The Mirror suggest that the Augsburg full-back may be available for around £15m.
Another face that could be joining the squad in the near future is Queens Park Rangers stopper Rob Green, the Daily Star report.
The former England international is being touted as a replacement for outgoing stopper Petr Cech.
