Chelsea have made Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic their main target to replace the soon to depart Petr Cech this summer by making an £8m move, according to The
However, even if the Potters accept Chelsea’s bid, Jose Mourinho will have to convince the Bosnian international to spend his peak years on the bench behind Thibaut Courtois.
Begovic has established himself as one of the finest goalkeepers in the Premier League in recent years, and he has been on Chelsea’s radar since April.

Begovic is about to enter the final year of his contract at the Britannia, and isn’t thought to cost more than £8m, and though there will be cheaper alternatives, the Blues are expected to recoup around £10m for Cech.
