Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado will discuss his future ahead of a possible exit, just five months after completing his big-money move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea News and Goals
According to the London Evening Standard, the 27-year-old’s representatives will meet with the club in the coming day to discuss whether he still has a role to play next season.
Despite shining for both Colombia in last year’s World Cup, and for Fiorentina in the first half of this season, Cuadrado has struggled since his £26.3m move in January (via London Evening Standard). In 12 appearances – eight of which have come from the bench – he has yet to score, or create a goal for his teammates.
And perhaps even more annoyingly for Blues fans, the makeweight in the deal to bring the winger to the club, Mohamed Salah has thrived in Serie A, scoring six times and bagging three assists.
The London Evening Standard suggest that should the former Udinese player leave the Premier League champions, it is likely that he will return to Italy, with Roma and Inter Milan interested.
