Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is apparently on the verge of sealing a fast exit from the club this summer, with a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce being mooted, according to the Metro.
Ospina became the first choice Gunners ‘keeper during the second half of the campaign, but is now facing an uncertain future at the club as a deal to sign Chelsea’s Petr Cech draws nearer.
And now reports in Turkish outlet HaberTurk say Fenerbahce are close to agreeing a £3.2m fee for the Colombian international, offering him a healthy £1.5m-a-year salary.
Fenerbahce have recently been linked with a move for Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas recently, too, but now seem to have turned their attentions toward Ospina as they look to bring in a top class goalkeeper this summer.
Should Cech complete his switch to north London, it could render Ospina as obsolete, as Wojciech Szczesny would apparently be seen as the club’s second choice goalie.
