Chelsea youngster Lucas Piazon is apparently desperate to leave the club this summer after claiming that he is wasting his time there, the Daily
The Brazilian joined the club back in 2013, but has so far failed to make a lasting impact in West London, making just three senior appearances before spending the majority of his time on loan with the likes of Malaga, Vitesse and last season Frankfurt.
But now that he has returned to the club for pre-season, he has reportedly told them that he wants to leave in the coming weeks (via The Express).
“I don’t want to stay there [at Chelsea],” he told ESPN Brazil.
“It will be a waste of time being there, play one game every two weeks. I would rather leave and play all games this year.
“It was once meant for me to be the new number 6 at Chelsea. I would only stay for a while in Brazil, then I would go to England.
“But then I came back here, then I went back there.
“I prefer to play for a team where I can develop myself and where I basically can play almost every week.”
Chelsea have added further young Brazilian recruits to their squad this summer, with the likes of Nathan and Kenedy making the voyage to England.
He will no doubt have some words of warning for the duo, though, after seeing his own experiences come to nothing in the blue shirt.
