Man United edge closer to Pedro deal personal terms are reportedly agreed

Manchester United are reportedly edging closer to completing a deal for Barcelona winger Pedro, after the Metro reported that the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.

The Metro suggest that Louis van Gaal’s side will be able to offer the Spaniard an increase on the wages that he currently earns at the Nou Camp.

And that appears to have been enough to convince the attacker to make the move to the Premier League this summer, as the Daily Star report that he has already told friends that he plans to join the Old Trafford side.

However, the Metro also report that the deal may not be ready for completion as the two clubs continue to negotiate the fee. The La Liga side are keen to receive all £21.2m up front for the winger, while United are hoping to spend £17.7m initially, with £3.5m coming in bonuses.

No matter where negotiations actually are over a deal, the reports would suggest that Pedro will be a Manchester United player by the time that this window shuts. It is just a case of when the move gets across the line, it seems.
