Serie A champions Juventus are said to be considering a double swoop for Chelsea midfielders Ramires and Juan Cuadrado, according to the Daily
The South American pair both struggled for form and fitness last term, and despite them both looking like they’d be better off moving on elsewhere, manager Jose Mourinho is apparently keen on keeping hold of them.
Cuadrado only joined the club back in January, when he signed on in a £24m deal from Fiorentina, but could only muster four appearances between then and the end of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Ramires has been at Stamford Bridge since 2010, but saw his influence diminish last term as he struggled with a series of injuries.
So far this summer the Blues have only added Radamel Falcao and Asmir Begovic to their squad as replacements for departed players. If he lets either of these players go then he will be looking for replacements for them as well.
Reports have suggested that the Italian side have made an enquiry about the pair and are waiting for Chelsea’s response.
