Louis van Gaal could be on the verge of landing the striker he has spent much of the summer chasing, after Le
Le Parisien report that the Ligue 1 side had initially rejected the offer from the Red Devils. However, the president Vadim Vasilyev has had a change of heart, and a deal could now be completed in the next few hours.
The lightning fast striker is one of the brightest prospects in the game currently, having somewhat stepped into the shoes of Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez, and has recently received his first call-up to the French national team.
And with van Gaal’s side continuing to find goals – despite the lack of strikers currently in their squad – there will be slightly more time for the 19-year-old to find his feet before the pressure of regularly finding the back of the net is placed upon him.
