Manchester United HOURS AWAY from completing deal for Barcelona’s Pedro

Manchester United are reportedly hours away from completing a deal for Barcelona winger Pedro, according to the Metro.

The Metro report that the Red Devils’ vice-chairman Ed Woodward has been locked in talks with the Catalan giants, but a deal is close to finally being brokered, and the 28-year-old’s £21.1m move should be complete once Angel Di Maria completes his switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

It will be a major boost for Louis van Gaal if he is able to have the Spaniard available for the opening game of the new Premier League season against Tottenham. While Pedro has been unable to make the kind of mark he would like at the Nou Camp, there is little question that he possesses the kind of quality that can inspire a side to the title.

And the Dutchman will be keen ensure that he enjoys the maximum amount of game time to give them the best chance of clinching the league crown for the first time since 2013.
