A strong tackle during a “highly competitive” training session at Chelsea led to an altercation between Diego Costa and Oscar, Sky
Team-mates and coaching staff had to step in to calm the situation down. No one was harmed and, according to witnesses, the Blues’ pair walked off the pitch together. They were laughing and seemingly had settled their differences from the Oscar’s challenge.
The Brazilian midfielder played down the incident via his official Twitter account:
For those who are talking to me and @diegocosta struggle today in training he’s lying, he’s one of my best friends and never fight 😉

Chelsea have endured an unexpectedly difficult season in the Premier League, having lost nine times already and sacking coach José Mourinho. Costa has been somewhat of a scapegoat of the Blues’ struggles, having scored just six goals so far and being booed by the fans in the first match coached by Guus Hiddink.
