Manchester United have maintained a long-term interest in Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, and they are expected to reignite their interest in the summer transfer window.

However, the report also claims that United are not likely to pay the demanded price for their target, who is in the latter stages of his career. The Red Devils are hopeful that they will be able to drive down the transfer price for the Uruguayan international.
United have failed to sign Cavani on previous attempts. Their bid of £50 million was turned down by the Paris club when David Moyes was still in charge of United.
Cavani is reportedly not happy with his situation at PSG and club manager Laurent Blanc has previously stated that the striker would be allowed to leave in summer.
The striker’s father recently suggested that his son should move to Real Madrid, Juventus or one of the Manchester clubs in summer.
