Chelsea’s future manager Antonio Conte is planning to raid Serie A to rebuild the Blues’ squad once he arrives at the club in the summer.
The West London club have been linked with a host of Serie A stars of late, and the latest reports suggest that they are tracking, at least, four players in the Italian top flight.
According to Italian source Calciomercato.com, Conte will make a move for Inter Milan wide man Ivan Perisic once he arrives at Stamford Bridge. The 27-year-old Croatian international, who moved to Inter for a transfer fee of £12 million last summer, has impressed in his first season with the club.
Inter are reluctant to par with their player, but an offer of around £23.5 million might tempt them to reconsider their stand.
Another report from Calciomercato.com suggests that Chelsea are interested in three of AS Roma players. The report claims that Kostas Manolas, Radja Nainggolan and Miralem Pjanic feature among the summer transfer targets of the Blues.
However, it is unlikely that Roma would allow three of their stars to leave in the same transfer window.
