Kevin De Bruyne’s return from injury has reignited Manchester City, guiding the Citizens to the Champions League semi-finals and an encounter with Real Madrid.
The first leg at the Emirates ended in a 0-0 draw, with the Belgian unable to break through the Spanish defence. However, City are still very much alive in this encounter as they travel to the Bernabeu next week.
Meanwhile, De Bruyne was asked to pick his 5-a-side team with players he has played with during his career, which was posted on Manchester City’s Youtube channel.
The 24-year-old picked three current team-mates at City in his 1-2-1 formation. De Bruyne favoured Joe Hart between the sticks, skipper and fellow countryman Vincent Kompany in defence, and Sergio Aguero as his striker.
He also added former Wolfsburg team-mate Luiz Gustavo in a midfield with fellow countryman and Tottenham star Mousa Dembele, who De Bruyne called the best in the world.
Meanwhile, the Belgian star also had a lesson for football commentators and City fans on how to pronounce his name. Just to make sure nobody has an excuse anymore to say his name incorrectly!
