Manchester United are interested in signing Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to ESPN. The report claims that a source close to the player has told ESPN that the Red Devils are monitoring the 22-year-old.
Chamberlain’s future at the Emirates Stadium remains uncertain as reports have suggested that the Gunners will listen to offers for the player in the summer.
The England international has failed to secure his spot in Arsene Wenger’s team following his arrival at the club from Southampton in 2011. The North London club signed Chamberlain in a deal worth £15 million from the Saints.
The youngster has shown glimpses of his potential on several occasions during his time with the Gunners but has lacked consistency in his performances.
Chamberlain has managed only seven goals in 100 league appearances for the North London club in his last five seasons. However, he will not lack suitors in the transfer market as recent reports have linked him with a host of clubs including the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, West Ham United, and Southampton.
