Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets, according to Spanish daily Sport.
The 27-year-old has a contract until 2019 with the Catalan club, but he is currently in negotiations over a new deal. Busquets is said to be demanding a £30,000 increase on his current £120,000-a-week wages.
Sport, via talkSPORT, claims that all three Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the situation and are ready to pounce if an opportunity presents itself.
Busquets, earlier this season, stated that he would be like to play for incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola once again in his career.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are set to explore the possibility of signing Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante when the Foxes visit Old Trafford this weekend.
According to Goal, United are ready to offer Brazilian youngster Andreas Pereira, who is a target for the Foxes, as part of a swap deal to convince the league leaders into doing business with them.
Kante, who claimed a spot in the PFA Team of the Year on the back of his stellar performances this season, is valued at £20 million and has been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Juventus as well.
