Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has described Mario Balotelli as one of the top five players in the world after the striker scored a brace in the side’s 6-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
Balotelli has never been far from controversy during his time with City, and after scoring the opening goal in the win revealed a t-shirt with the message “Why always me?” printed on it.
But Mancini praised the forward’s efforts, telling Sky
“He is young and at his age he can make some mistakes. But as a player he is incredible. I hope the day arrives for Mario he changes his mind completely. Because when he does that he will become one of the three best players in the world, like Messi and Ronaldo.”
