Arteta pleased with Gunners dressing-room spirit

Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta has revealed the spirit that the Arsenal dressing room now have following their recent run of successes, uefa.com reports.

Arteta joined the Gunners in the summer for £10m from Everton and has bedded in well with his new teammates. The 29 year old was brought in as a replacement for compatriot Cesc Fabregas and has shown some of the same qualities that the former Gunners skipper had. The Spanish midfielder is settled into life at the Emirates Stadium and has spoke about the character his Arsenal teammates have in the dressing room.

‘The dressing room is a mirror of the bad times a team have out on the pitch. In those moments you have to look at how your team-mates react, the looks between them – that tells you everything. When all seems lost, a good dressing room pulls together. That’s invaluable’, Arteta said.
