Burnley’s Danny Ings admits he’s held no contract talks with the club

Burnley striker Danny Ings has recently admitted he’s yet to speak with the Clarets about his contract, reports Sky Sports.

The in-form striker is in the last six months of his deal, and denied holding talks about his future with the Clarets. Liverpool are one of many sides who have been linked with his signature this season, but Ings ruled out a January move recently -stating his desire to keep Burnley in the Premier League before considering a move.

“I’m just getting on with my football. With social media there’s going to be speculation for any player doing well for their club. I’m not the type of player to think, ‘Maybe I can move there’. I’m happy (with Burnley) at the moment. I’ve got a job to do in helping to keep Burnley up. I’m just focusing on that,” said the England U21 international.
