Arsenal are said to be lining up a deal to bring Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah after he fell down the pecking order with the Italian champions, according to the Metro.
The Ghanaian international is an archetypal utility man, and capable of playing anywhere across the middle of the pitch as well as filling in at left-back when needed.
And it is that versatility that is believed to have made him such an attractive proposition to Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who is said to be interested in striking a deal to bring him to London, Sportitalia claims.
Despite Juve’s success this term, he has struggled to be a part of much of it thanks to a series of injuries.
He is now unlikely to be able to force his way back into the side and should welcome the links of a move away.
Asamoah joined Juve in the summer of 2012 from fellow Serie A side Udinese, and went on to make 93 appearances, scoring three goals.
