DM: Morgan Schneiderlin
Though he cost £25m he may prove to be a very shrewd acquisition as Louis van Gaal looks to replace the ageing Michael Carrick with a younger model.
CM: Bastian Schweinsteiger
He may be 30, but he has won everything there is to win and has never once dipped his quality or consistency. He will no doubt be a wonderful addition to the Premier League.
CM: Ander Herrera
Where Schwiensteiger will be more defensively minded, the Spaniard will be expected to contribute more to the attack.
