Micah Richards – Aston Villa
Richards was once tipped to be a future England regular, but following a few mislaid years at Manchester City, and a loan spell at Fiorentina that didn’t quite work out, this will be the opportunity for him to re-establish himself as one of the country’s best defenders.
He’ll be joining Villa at the right time. Under the stewardship of Tim Sherwood, the club will look to turn themselves back into one of ‘the best of the rest’ and chairman Randy Lerner is already facilitating this by pumping money back into the transfer kitty.
