Everton are close to sealing a £13.5million deal to sign Senegalese international striker Oumar Niasse from CSKA Moscow, according to The Daily Mail.
The striker has impressed in the Russian top-flight. Niasse arrived at the Toffees Finch Farm training ground earlier today and has now travelled to have a medical in Liverpool city centre.
The striker has enjoyed a very good year for Lokomotiv Moscow and has scored 13 times in 21 appearances and also supplied eight assists in all competitions for Lokomotiv. The 25-year-old has previously been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea.
However, it seems that the Toffees have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals as the forward moves closer to completing a move to Merseyside. Niasse is versatile, as he can also play as a winger.

One player who has left Everton is Republic of Ireland winger Aiden McGeady, who has joined Championship Sheffield Wednesday on-loan for the rest of the campaign. The former-Celtic star has struggled with injuries this season and has not featured for the Toffees this season.
