Milan have completed the signing of Liverpool midfielder Suso, who will move to Italy when his contract expires in the summer, the Reds’ official
The Spaniard moved to Liverpool from hometown club Cadiz in the summer of 2010 and was originally part of their youth setup before being promoted to the first team by current boss Brendan Rodgers in 2012, making his competitive debut in a Europa League group match in September of that year.
That proved to be the first of 21 appearances he made for the club in all competitions, with his only goal coming earlier this season when he netted against Championship high-flyers Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup. He spent last season on loan with Almeria.
He has finally now sealed a move to the seven-time European champions, who have pursued Suso persistently over recent months. Announcing the deal, a statement on the Liverpool website read: “Everybody at Liverpool thanks Suso for his contribution and wishes him all the best for the future.”
